Why does flareon has no moves

The hate for Flareon is a lot like the hate for many other Pokemon: they just aren't suited for competitive battling. It even happens to typing, such as the grass type because many of them aren't good battling material competitively.

I personally adore Flareon like the other eeveelutions. But the thing is I love it's design more than anything. Sure, it's not great in battle but when it came to favorites that have never mattered to me. Alas, it matters to a lot of people these days as competitively battling continues to grow in the Pokemon fandom.

Its moveset doesn't cater for its stats at all, especially considering that its highest attacking stat is physical attack, and it only has about 2 physical STAB moves, those being Flame Charge and Fire Fang..

I've always preferred Vaporeon since the beginning anyway Flareon just didn't appeal to me and it was pretty crappy even back then. FC: , Richard. None of the Eeveelitions are amazing, it's just that they all have a different niche and Flareon's niche has been totally outclassed by the likes of Darmanitan- there are way more bulky physical threats out there now. Same with Umbreon. Espeon can utilize Baton Pass well and so can Jolteon.

Flareon possesses both Baton Pass and Wish but isn't fast or bulky enough to use them. However it can find a place on Hail teams, and Leafeon, basically a better physical threat, can be OK. Basically none of the Eeveelutions are great it's just that Flareon's niche is pretty much gone. I didn't wan't to remove it with out asking first, but I really don't think this is any more of a piece of trivia than it would be if I just said Flareon sucks competitively.
